To register for the online service, you will need to have your credit card handy along with the statement for this card because you will be asked for the maximum card limit. If you have multiple cards from the bank, you will only need to use one.

Also, you will be asked to provide personal details including, contact information and date of birth. You will be allowed to choose the username, the password, the handy reminder and the memorable word.

Enable the cookies on your browser and ensure that you are the primary card holder before you start the registration process. The session for registering the account will only stay open for 10 minutes. To start, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Go to http://www.barclaycard.co.uk/personal and click on the blue tab to your right that says “register”.
Step 2: On the next page, scroll down to find the blue “register” button and click on it.
Step 3: You should now see the registration form on your screen. The first part comprises of fields meant to capture information about the card holder and the card, such as the date of birth, card number, expiry date and the card limit. Except for the spending limit, all other information required can be found on your Barclays card.
Step 4: Choose a username and the passcode. Also, you will need to assign a memorable word that will be used in conjunction with the pass code when you want to reset your Barclaycard login details. Furthermore, you will also be able to set a memorable word reminder.
Step 5: Enter your email address and check the box for accepting the terms and conditions of the bank before using the “register” tab.

To use the online account connected to your card, you will need to go back to the homepage of the service available at http://www.barclaycard.co.uk/personal. Click on the green “login” button, which is right next to the tab for registration.

You will be redirected to the sign in form where you will need to furnish your username and your passcode. Then, click on the “continue” button to get to the dashboard.

Another way to access the online account linked to the card is by downloading the Barclaycard app from Google Play or App Store. Once you have downloaded the app, use your 5 digit passcode to register the app. Subsequently, this is the only information that you will need to type in when using the program to access your online account.

Resetting your Barclaycard login passcode

If you have forgotten just your passcode or memorable word, it is possible to reset this Barclay card login information by going through a verification process. However, if you have lost both your username and your passcode/memorable word, you will need to contact customer support on 0800 161 5300 and ask a representative to help you reset the security details. Make sure you have your card with you when contacting the bank.

Step 2: Provide account details such as your date of birth, card number, card security code and expiry date.
Step 3: Click on continue and you will be taken to the verification page where you will be asked for the memorable word. Type this in and you will be given access to the dashboard to reset your password.
Step 4: If you do not remember the memorable word, you will be allowed to access the hint that you had assigned for the memorable word.
Step 5: If you do not remember the memorable word and the password, you will need to contact customer support.
